Liam Scott Ward's ingenious objects involve recycling, objet trouvé, kinetica, projection and film.
The artist is part of the Gruntwork Collective, a group of expatriate artists in Berlin that transforms
disused spaces and makes them an intrinsic part of their art works. Their flamboyantly DIY exhibitions "are
tailored to fit the landscape of departed space and their art works use materials that reflect the
self-funded nature of the work, consisting of what is readily available."
May 29, from 8 pm, Liam Scott Ward's work can be viewed at RED, an audio-visual multimedia extravaganza at the Old Patzenhofer Brewery, Landsberger Allee 54, Berlin. (ground floor entrance, "Kunstraum Richard Sorge").
